All Will Be Well - First Sunday of Advent

This sermon was given on the first Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011. The Rev David Hyman preached on the Gospel passage that day, Mark 13:24-37, and the Old Testament lesson, Isaiah 64:1-9.

During this season of Advent, let us be awakened to the great hope we have in Christ. “All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.” And let us begin preparing a place for him in our lives by living in the reality that his coming is always imminent. Always near.
