Claire Kirby Hughes Memorial Fund

Claire and David.jpg

Claire Kirby Hughes was a founding member of Holy Trinity. As earnest as she was in her faith in Christ, she was equally as radical in her love for others and her desire to care for those in need. in the Name of Christ She went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017, after a gallant battle with cancer.

Her absence is painfully felt in our community, but her memory of compassionate service lives on in our ministry to the needy through our Alms account. The Claire Kirby Hughes Memorial Fund was established after her death to help care for those whom Claire would care for if she were still here.

Alms are funds that parishioners donate beyond their tithe. They are then discreetly and prudently distributed by our clergy to help those in crisis or serious need within our parish or out in the community. When you give Alms, you can know that every dollar you donate will go to someone who desperately needs it.

Please consider almsgiving as a regular part of your discipleship, over and above tithing.

To do so, please click here and select Alms. You can even schedule regular giving to this account, if you feel so led.
