Youth at Holy Trinity

Up. In. Out. Around.

Worshiping God. Building Community. Serving the World. Strengthening Families.

At Holy Trinity, our youth (7th–12th grade, sometimes 6th) are full participants in the life of the Church. As we seek to love, worship, and serve God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — in the Chapel Hill area, our young people are invited into a life of joyful discipleship rooted in faith, friendship, and action.

🙏 UP: Rooted in Faith

We grow upward in love for God through scripture, worship, and prayer.

  • Sunday Night Youth (5–7 PM) includes Bible reflection, prayer, and spiritual practices

  • Seasonal Faith Formation offers spaces to grow in understanding and trust

  • Confirmation (summer) invites youth into a deeper journey of Christian commitment

  • Prayer Partners and adult mentors help guide the way

🤝 IN: Growing Together in Community

We grow inward by sharing life together with joy, honesty, and belonging:

  • Sunday gatherings include time for games, food, conversations, and fun

  • Retreats and Camp Booyah provide rest, play, and reconnection with God and one another

  • Community forms not through programs, but through shared presence and love

🌍 OUT: Living for Others

We grow outward by joining in God’s mission of love, justice, and peace:

  • Youth Leadership Team (10th+) helps shape events and serve others

  • Service projects and volunteer roles build habits of generosity and responsibility

  • Guest speakers & mission-focused events connect youth with stories of global and local impact

Our faith is never just inward — it always reaches out to bless others.

🏡 AROUND: Families and Formation

We grow alongside parents and families, knowing formation starts at home:

  • Parents are companions in this journey, not spectators

  • Pray for Me Campaign and Confirmation Sponsors foster intergenerational support

  • We hold fast to the promise of Malachi 4:6
“He will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers.”

At Holy Trinity, we believe youth, families, and the Church grow stronger together.
