Anglican Homily: Part 1 of A Sermon on the salvation of mankind, by only Christ our Savior from sin and death everlasting.

During the season of Lent, we’re hearing and considering several of the sermons from the Books of Homilies. They were written in the 16th Century as simplified topical sermons to teach on the theological distinctions which arose during the English Reformation. On Wednesday morning, March 10th, 2021, we considered the first part of the Homily on “The salvation of mankind, by only Christ our Savior from sin and death everlasting.”
