Sixth Sunday in Easter - The Gift of the Spirit

On this Sunday, we consider Jesus' promise in John 14:15-21 to send another Helper, the Holy Spirit. What a glorious gift we have received. Even the Old Testament saints did not receive what we have through Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit there would be no church, no faith, no baptism, no Christian love, and no hope. He fills the whole world with all that proclaims the glory of God.
