Why do People Follow Jesus?

By the Sea of Galilee, Jesus began his ministry by inviting some fishermen with these words, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men." Why is that even after all these years, Christian men and women by the millions and from all walks of life regularly make decisions to alter their lifestyles and practices, lifestyles and practices which look attractive and lucrative, in order to live with honesty, Christian integrity and to practice faith, hope and love?
