Ryan grew up in the mountains of Colorado. He received his undergraduate degree in Theological Studies from Seattle Pacific University, and moved to the Triangle in 2011
In 2015, he graduated from Duke Divinity School with a Masters of Divinity and now serves as an assisting priest at Holy Trinity.
Ryan is also a full time Pastor at Twin Lakes Retirement Community in Burlington, NC. He assists with our worship services on a regular basis.
Raised outside of the church, Ryan came to Christ in high school and found an immediate sense of calling toward Christian leadership. After moving from church to church, and from state to state, Ryan found a home within the Anglican Church, and ultimately, in the fall of 2012, at Holy Trinity. In his ministry, Ryan dedicates himself to building community through the Gospel.
Ryan lives in Durham with his wife, Averill. Together, they have two daughters, Linnea (2014) and Lila (2017), and one dog named Reno. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys camping and hiking, going to super hero movies, finding and consuming local, craft beer, and drinking copious amounts of Joe Van Gogh coffee.
