Summer Hebrews Class at the NC Study Center: Dr. George Guthrie, Professor of New Testament at Regent College will teach a class on Hebrews the week of Monday, July 29 – Friday, August 2. Dr. Guthrie is a respected scholar, a gifted teacher, an author of several books and commentaries and has served as a Consultant/Reviewer of the book of Hebrews for the English Standard Version translation of the Bible. Sunday, June 9th, Pentecost Covered Dish Lunch and Youth Bake Sale — Mark your calendars for a church-wide covered dish lunch on Sunday, June 9th. Please make plans to bring enough for your family and plenty to share. We need main dishes, sides, salads, and individually wrapped dessert. The youth will sell your goodies (and theirs) to raise money for Camp Booyah. We need to raise $2000! So come ready to buy some baked goods! Rally Around the Westfalls — David and Anna Westfall and their family have been a part of our church for the past year. They drive quite some distance to worship with us and so are not able to participate in one of our small groups. They are expecting their third child on April 9th. March 6th: Ash Wednesday Service 6:30 PM at the NC Botanical Garden — The season of Lent, a time of self-examination, repentance, and renewal of faith in preparation for Easter, begins on Ash Wednesday.
