Sunday Morning Children's Chapel

We are pleased to offer Children's Chapel during the sermon (for children who turned three by August 31st, 2018 through current third graders). Fourth and fifth graders will stay in church with their families during the sermon; there is a children's bulletin available for them. Children start the morning in the worship service with their family. Then the children are invited to go to Children’s Chapel after the Prayer for Children. They return to re-join their families for Holy Communion. Time in Children's Chapel will include setting a prayer table, gathering around it for prayer, lesson following the Gospel reading, songs, sign language, prayer journals, and an artistic response.

Our hope is to maintain the spirit of the Atrium during this reverent time of worship. We need two adults to serve each week, one as a leader and the other as an assistant. Minimal preparation required. Training available. When you miss the sermon, you can find it and listen to it on the church website. If interested, please contact catechist, Lisa McCowen.
